The Big Tower is without a doubt the most imposing building in the entire castle (Fig. 22) . Recent excavations (with large diameters of more than 16 meters ...) only confirm this power. This type of tower is characteristic of the 11th and 12th centuries and appeared under the reign of Philippe Auguste in France and documented in literature (Fig. 23) . All the medieval fortresses were equipped with this almost impregnable defensive weapon before the coming of the artillery a few centuries later.
The inspiration for modeling this big tower is a combination of all these elements.

A projection into the past gives us a perspective of this construction in today's environment. Its large dimensions are undeniable (Fig. 25) . The chapel hides somewhat this tower in this shot. Virtual reality tour with helmet will be most impressive (later along this site)
